I saw the first movie which is produced by the national geographic and its awesome !!!
“The Way Back”, the story of four people who escaped from prison and walked 5000 kms for survival.
Well, the story is based on the book named The Long Walk (1955), a book by Sławomir Rawicz, a Polish POW in the Soviet Gulag.
The lead role performed by Jim Sturgess, he is a solider of Poland and being interrogated by a Soviet officer. Letter they send him for 20 years of sentenced in gulag Siberia, as soon as he come at jail he planned to escape from it. Fortunately he found some people who also want to leave form the prison.
But the biggest problem to escape is not the security , but it’s the nature, because to escape from the Russia military they have run for big distance.
The problems they have faced are shooed excellently, like when they walked from Siberia to magnolia and they saw magnolia is going to follow communism and become supporter of Russia group, then they decided to move to china and when they come across gobi desert of the magnolia.
They walk whole Gobi desert, some of their members dies , after walking many days in desert they come to china , after china they come to Tibet and finally in India.
The journey they have made was a exceptional for any human capabilities.
Its really nice to see there journey.
